An absolutely brilliant performance reminding us of a wonderful night in May when we were lucky enough to see the show live at The Walter Kerr Theatre on Broadway.
As we watched the show I think I was almost in a dream but the CD’s brought my memories flooding back, this was further enhanced by the depth and warmth of the vinyl LP’s.
Bruce at his best as always and in such a personal performance.

As someone who thought he didn't need yet another version of Born tot Run, this early Xmas gift proved me totally wrong and offered a unique view point for those who couldn't be there such as myself. Bruce at his best!

Bruce doing what he does best, telling stories with humour and emotion and truth. This is raw, stripped bare and revealing. Absolutely fabulous and an absolute must for any music fan. Thank you Bruce, from the bottom of my heart.

was in NY in late April this year and
visited the Walter Kerr box office
each day hoping for a possible return
........ unfortunately no luck. !!
having just listened to the set feel even
more annoyed !!
sensational the intro’s and recordings
for My Fathers House & The Wish are stand out
( and if they don’t move you, you ain’t got blood running through your veins ) amongst a fantastic collection that somehow seem to post landmarks
that resonate whilst taking you on that journey .......

All rock stars should give up writing autobiographies and do it like Springsteen. Stand up in front of an audience and tell them who you are and why you do what you do. It's interesting, funny and so well done. And fabulous acoustic versions of his songs. Outstanding - get it now.

I will regret forever not buying a ticket for the Broadway show when I visited New York and had the chance to do so in June this year. (5th row ticket for $850)...At the time I just thought the price was ridiculous for a two hour show.
Having listened to the CD and now having seen the Netflix broadcast of the show just makes me regret it even more.
This is Bruce at his very best ...candid, thoughtful, moving, and very funny at times, you could almost hear a pin drop in the very respectful, obviously captivated audience, as he unloads his years of burden ...and good times, of his personal life and his life on the road. The sound quality of the recording and the set list he covers makes this a real MUST HAVE CD.
I would implore anyone to buy this CD (and try to catch the Netflix show if you can) and listen to one of the last remaining real Rock superstars at their very very best.

I saw the show live in May and this is a magnificent reminder of the best theatrical performance I’ve witnessed

Emotions in overdrive! Bruce is funny, clever, poignant, thoughtful, and at times raw. This is more than a treat - it’s like nothing you’ve heard before. BUY IT!
