The Pozo-Seco Singers, a folk trio from Corpus Christi, consisted of Don Williams, Lofton Kline, and Susan Taylor. They formed in 1964 at a coffeehouse. The trio's final album, "Spend Some Time with Me," was released in 1970 and features reworked versions of popular songs by artists like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The group nearly achieved mainstream success, signing with Columbia and producing several minor hits that made it into the Billboard Hot 100. Don Williams went on to become a celebrated solo artist, but his origins trace back to this record, now reissued for the first time on heavyweight colored vinyl.
