It’s that time again… Record Store Day 2026 is back, and 2026 might just be one of the biggest yet.
In-store: Saturday 18th April (from 9am)
Online leftovers: Monday 20th April (8pm)
And trust us as always - you’re going to want to be early for this one.
We’ve been digging through the full list (all 20+ pages of it… seriously) and there’s loads to get excited about.
A few that are already jumping out:
And honestly… that’s barely scratching the surface. There’s everything from jazz deep cuts to indie exclusives to full-on box set monsters. This is one of those years where you’ll want a game plan and a bit of luck.
And if you can’t make it in-store, we’ll have whatever’s left online from Monday 20th at 8pm.
If RSD wasn’t enough, we’ve also got something seriously special on the horizon:
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band – Live From Asbury Park 2024
📀 3CD
📅 Out 29th May 2026
This one’s got that goosebumps factor.
Recorded at the Sea.Hear.Now festival in front of 35,000 people, this is a full-throttle hometown show — over three hours of Bruce doing what Bruce does best. From “Thunder Road” and “Dancing In The Dark” to “Born To Run” and “Jungleland,” alongside early Asbury Park cuts like “Growin’ Up” and “Blinded By The Light,” it’s the full journey laid out in one set — from boardwalk beginnings to stadium-sized anthems, played just down the road from where it all started. If you’ve ever seen the E Street Band live, you already know… this is essential.
Record Store Day is what Badlands is all about. Community, discovery, and a shared love of music (with a bit of queue chat thrown in). It’s not just about what’s on the shelves, it’s about the people in the room, the early risers swapping recommendations, the familiar faces in the queue, the buzz when someone finds the one they’ve been after.
It’s a day that reminds us why record shops matter in the first place, spaces built on friendship, curiosity, and that simple joy of putting something great on the turntable and wanting to share it with someone else. For a few hours, everything slows down to the rhythm of the racks… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Come and have a browse. We’ll see you in the racks!
