What a wild few weeks it's been! September arrived like a freight train loaded with new releases, and October’s shaping up to be just as big. From exclusive pre-orders and in-store giveaways to surprise signings and some huge announcements from Bruce and Bob, here’s your latest round-up of all the action (plus a sneak peek at what’s ahead).
We’ve barely had a moment to shout about it, but Cate Le Bon’s latest album is here on Mexican Summer and it’s already a shop favourite. Surreal, stylish, and full of art-pop flair - if you’re a fan, we’ve got something special: signed prints with vinyl purchases (in store only, while they last), plus a signed test pressing up for grabs! Just comment your favourite Cate song to enter. Buy the album and your name goes in the hat twice.
Also flying out: Geese, Robert Plant, and Olivia Dean.
The next entry in Dylan’s Bootleg Series is officially up for pre-order: Through the Open Window (Vol. 18) spans 1956-1963 and dives deep into the Greenwich Village years. Expect 8CD and 4LP/2CD formats packed with unheard home tapes, rare shows, and 48 previously unreleased tracks - including the full Carnegie Hall 1963 concert, finally released from master tapes.
Not to be outdone, Bruce Springsteen is readying the Nebraska '82: Expanded Edition - and it’s shaping up to be massive.
The set includes the long-rumoured Electric Nebraska Sessions, a full album remaster, 17 bonus tracks (15 unreleased), and a new performance film of Bruce playing all 10 tracks in sequence. Available as 4LP + Blu-Ray or 4CD + Blu-Ray.
Pre-order now and you’ll receive not one but two plectrums: a Sony-exclusive Nebraska '82 pick, and a custom Badlands one, of course. 👉 Pre-order here
