In fact, the album included samples from the film The Last Temptation of Christ, which was itself accused of blasphemy
But the band was hardly standing still, as the gobsmacking guitar pyrotechnics of Eric and Brian Hoffman and furious fusillades of bassist/vocalist Glen Benton and drummer Steve Asheim became ever more awe-inspiring and, dare we say it, miraculous. For its 30th anniversary, we are giving Once Upon the Cross its American vinyl debut with a blue, red, and grey "autobots" pressing complete with printed inner sleeve
