In addition to the mellow and gentle dub sound from his previous album, MaL's dub mix has been refined in 'Primal Dub 2' which will satisfy listeners who liked the previous album. One of the highlights of 'Primal Dub' was the participation of MaL's elder daughter on trumpet, and now 'Primal Dub 2' features MaL's younger daughter on alto saxophone and voice. While the concept of incorporating reggae, lovers rock, and dancehall into a soundtrack of daily life through dub is consistent with the previous album, the music and sound has evolved even further

The cover art is by Best Match Corner, who continues to light up the Tokyo underground scene. MaL is one of the leading music producers in Japan, focused on Dub, Bass music, and he has produced and wrote many songs for other singers and has been professionally active for about 30 years

MaL was invited to performed at the 'OUTLOOK FESTIVAL' held in Croatia for 9 consecutive years
