‘Alight Upon the Lake: Live at the Jazz Showcase’ is a previously unissued recording of woodwind
multi-instrumentalist icon Yusef Lateef featuring pianist Kenny Barron, bassist Bob Cunningham and drummer Albert ‘Tootie’ Heath, captured live at Joe Segal’s Jazz Showcase in Chicago in June 1975.
The 3CD set was mastered from the original tapes by engineer Matthew Lutthans.
