Billy Preston’s fourth studio record, That’s The Way God Planned It, came out in August 1969 on Apple Records.
The release arrived shortly after his work with the Beatles and was produced by George Harrison.
Its title song became a chart success in the UK. The album also featured contributions from Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Doris Troy.
