This product is an RSD Black Friday 2026 title, which is available to buy in-store from 8am on Friday 27/11/2026, and online from 8am on Saturday 28/11/2026.
Following the eagerly awaited new stereo mix from The Beatles’ for their sixth UK album, Rubber Soul, that will have a multi-format release this September, comes a gold vinyl Limited Edition of the US version for Black Friday 2026.
This release will make it available for the first time as a standalone vinyl LP since it was originally released on Capitol Records in 1965.
Using the same principles as the previously acclaimed US album vinyl-only release of The Beatles US Albums, the audio has been sourced from the original 1965 US production master referencing the contemporary mastering notes of the time. The new vinyl lacquers are cut by Kevin Reeves at Nashville’s East Iris Studios.
As had occurred with all The Beatles’ previous albums released in the US, the running order of Rubber Soul was altered by Capitol.
‘Drive My Car’, ‘Nowhere Man’, ‘What Goes On’ and ‘If I Needed Someone’ were sidelined from the sequence of the UK LP and two tracks, yet to be issued in America, were dropped in from the UK Help! album. ‘I’ve Just Seen A Face’ opened side one and ‘It’s Only Love’ was placed at the start of the second side.
1LP: includes the US version of Rubber Soul on a 180g heavyweight gold LP, housed in a poly-lined inner bag within a single outer sleeve.
Note: The US album is available in the Super Deluxe format of the forthcoming Rubber Soul reissue on 18th September. But this will be the first time it’s available to purchase separately on vinyl, and is a Limited edition gold vinyl.
