To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the late-period T Rex classic 'FuturisticDragon' and this year's National Album Day celebration of musical Icons,Demon are pleased to announce this limited-edition picture disc Zoetrope
As a listen to the album will attest, by the time Marc Bolan and his newlyhoned T. Rex came to record 'Futuristic Dragon', his creative mojo was welland truly back on track, culminating in a beguiling, bubbling blend of cosmicsoul and breathtaking post-glitter Britrock. Some of its tracks count amongthe very best of Bolan's illustrious career, from the grinding post-glamboogie of 'Jupiter Liar' and poetic swoon of 'Chrome Sitar' to the seductivelaidback R&B of 'Ride My Wheels'. And to top all that there were two hitsingles as well the freaky 'New York City' and intoxicating 'Dreamy Lady.
Pressed in a very limited run, this new Zoetrope picture disc edition, whenplaced on a turntable will appear to come to life, with George Underwood'sepic sci- fi / fantasy sleeve of Bolan riding a mythical beast animating beforeyour very eyes!
