Our Shop

Badlands is a long established independent record shop in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. It was founded in 1986 by avid music fans and Bruce Springsteen 'The Boss' enthusiasts Philip and Steven Jump. The shop specialises in classic and indie rock, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. It also stocks a range of varied CDs, vinyl, boxsets, magazines, merchandise and posters.

Previous events hosted in-store include acts such as Alex Lipinski, Billy Bragg, Bombay Bicycle Club, Danny & The Champions of the World, Emily Barker, Emily Duff, Frank Turner, InMe, Magic Numbers, Neck Deep, Vukovi, Willie Nile to name a few! 

Badlands is also an official Record Store Day participating store which see's us stock exclusive vinyl releases.

Even though the bricks and mortar shop is situated in the South West of England the Badlands website has enabled us to continue to sell on an international and global basis helping us stay in touch with long time and extremely loyal customers in Europe and the rest of the World.
