Dopamine Chamber
Fontaines D.C. return with their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, released via XL Recordings and produced by James Ford, following 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance.
The Dublin band push their sound further into new territory. Cold synthesiser tones, marching drums, samples and triggers sit alongside sweeping strings inspired by 1960s Italian pop, with several tracks abandoning guitars altogether.
Dopamine Chamber explores pleasure, escapism and unease in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, environmental collapse, political violence and the constant noise of online life.
Dark, atmospheric and deliberately unsettling, Dopamine Chamber captures Fontaines D.C. at another point of transformation, questioning where we escape to when the outside world becomes impossible to ignore.
