All You Need Is Love...
25th june 2026
Global Beatles Day started as a simple idea that has become a global movement built on joy, togetherness and connection, values that feel increasingly relevant today. And on 25th June, millions of fans worldwide are expected to do exactly what Global Beatles Day encourages: celebrating The Beatles, their music, and a message that continues to resonate across generations and around the world: love is all you need.
On 25th June 1967 The Beatles performed All You Need Is Love for the first time to a global TV audience at Abbey Road.
Global Beatles Day was created in 2009 by a fan in Indianapolis named Faith Cohen. For seventeen years it has grown organically across dozens of countries, rooted in one idea: that the band's real purpose was to help people appreciate being alive.
2026 is the first year Apple Corps stands behind it. They have written to Faith to invite her to Liverpool on 25th June to take part in the celebrations there.
Express your fandom and share The Beatles’ message of love and kindness. You can do this however you choose: share a post on social media, listen to the music, find a group of friends and throw a Global Beatles Day party… or pop into Badlands and grab a special commemorative badge and spread the love! This is your invitation to celebrate in your own way.
