Exclusive to Black Friday 2026, we're delighted to announce a fresh reissue of one of the jewels in Labi's crown… the influential 1975 masterpiece 'Remember My Song'. Recorded during an especially prolific period in Labi's career (he released two studio albums in 1975 alone), 'Remember My Song' combined emotional honesty, reflective introspection and tight funk-soul grooves in a heady mix… at the time it was seen as something of a gritty departure from the singer-songwriter's trademark sweeter sound. 

Since its release, 'Remember My Song' has come to be seen as a bona-fide mid-'70s classic, kicking off in fine style with the iconic 'I Got The…', known to millions as the key sample loop behind 1999's Eminem / Dr Dre single, 'My Name Is'. Presented with original album artwork and a new inner bag containing for the first time the album's lyrics supplied by Labi himself.
