Machine Girl’s iconic debut album ‘WLFGRL’ turned 10 in 2024.
It launched Machine Girl into underground folklore, created a thriving scene for outsiders, freaks and weirdos, building the foundations for a massive fanbase of almost a million worldwide.
The reissue will be launched with a one-off livestreamed show at Trans-Pecos in Brooklyn, an important venue for the band over their 10-year career.
This album has never been distributed to physical retail and has never been released on CD before.
Equally apocalyptic and ecstatic, the music produced by Machine Girl is an explosive, cathartic blend of footwork, jungle, digital hardcore and rave.
Debut full-length ‘WLFGRL’ became a major success online following its 2014 release, introducing breakcore and jungle to a generation of young listeners and influencing numerous producers.
The duo shifted to a more punk-inspired sound with 2017’s ‘…Because I’m Young Arrogant and Hate Everything You Stand For’, and founder Matt Stephenson teamed up with Kill Alters to form the duo Prolaps.
